What will be your functions?

We keep growing at EOS Spain. Therefore, we need to recruit a person for the position of Data Engineer who will be part of the Data & Valuations area of EOS Spain. Your mission will be to analyse and study the operational database of all areas of the company to establish a predictive model in the valuations, with the aim of knowing the future behaviour of the different management variables.

What will be your responsibilities? 

  • Use of technical tools to solve technical problems.

  • Extraction of data from different sources (databases, webs, files,...) and recognise the ways of extraction in case of Web Scraping.

What will we require from you?

  • Graduate in Computer Engineering, Computer, Industrial, Telecommunications, or others such as Statistics, Mathematics or Physics. 
  • At least 2 years of experience in positions related to data engineering and ETL development/implementation. 
  • High knowledge of Python, as well as of libraries oriented to data analysis, such as Pandas or Numpy. Desirable knowledge of Apache Spark or scikit-learn.
  • Extensive knowledge of Web Scraping techniques, understanding how to recognise different endpoints. Knowledge of requests, Scrapy and Selenium libraries.
  • Knowledge of Linux endpoint browsing, service creation. 
  • Experience in Cloud ecosystems (AWS, GCP or Azure), preferably in AWS.
