What will be your functions as Software Developer?

• Experience in developing applications using microservices technologies.
• Strong knowledge of modern programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.

At EOS, we want to incorporate new talent into the Data & Valuations area. Therefore, we are looking for a Junior Underwriting & Valuations Consultant to join our team.

As a Junior Underwriting & Valuations Consultant, your mission will be to conduct analysis, underwriting, due diligence, and execution of investment opportunities in the Spanish market, focusing on portfolios of real estate NPLs and direct opportunistic real estate. This position will also involve asset management initiatives, including the development and implementation of business plans at the asset level and data models for reporting purposes.

What will be your responsibilites? 

• Restructure and build dynamic deliverables using large datasets.
• Create presentations and reports to summarise analytical findings, presenting them effectively and clearly.
• Conduct thorough market studies to identify trends and investment opportunities.
• Collaborate in the preparation of Business Plans and due diligence processes.
• Develop financial models, particularly using discounted cash flow methodologies.

What do we need from you?

• Strong knowledge of financial modelling techniques.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with Python, particularly with libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Highly motivated team player with a proactive approach.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, able to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Project management and leadership capabilities.

At EOS Spain we are expanding our Data & Valuations team and we are looking for a Data Engineer. Your mission will be to design and develop robust and scalable data pipelines that guarantee the quality, integrity and security of the information within the organisation.

You will be responsible for implementing and managing data warehousing architectures, optimising foundations for optimal performance through ETL. You will collaborate with data scientists and analysts to meet their needs using programming, SQL and Cloud. Your ability to solve problems and communicate effectively will be key to the success and continuous improvement of our data processes.

What will be your responsibilities? 

• Design and develop robust, scalable and efficient data pipelines.
• Implement and manage data storage architectures in the cloud or on-premises servers.
• Ensure data quality, integrity and security through ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts and other stakeholders to understand and meet data needs.
• Optimise and maintain databases for optimal performance.
• Implement monitoring and alerting procedures to ensure data availability and consistency. 

What will we require from you?

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications, or others such as Statistics, Mathematics or Physics. 
• At least 3 years of experience in similar positions in a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience in Cloud ecosystems (AWS, GCP or Azure), preferably in AWS.
• Knowledge of data modelling techniques and database design.
• Ability to manage large volumes of data and optimise data processing performance.
