For this, we need to incorporate to our Secured team a person in the position of Asset Manager, who will be responsible for managing a portfolio of secured assets, driving the most appropriate recovery strategies, and coordinating the associated judicial and extrajudicial procedures.

Responsibilities and functions:

• Manage a portfolio of secured assets and the associated procedures.
• Analyze the legal status of each case to determine the most appropriate recovery strategy.
• Coordinate and monitor judicial and extrajudicial proceedings.
• Collaborate with external law firms, legal representatives, servicers, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Negotiate agreements and solutions aimed at debt recovery.
• Prepare progress reports, analyses, and activity reports.
• Drive initiatives to optimize recovery timelines, costs, and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and the company’s internal procedures.

What do we need from you?

• Law Degree.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Secured Asset Manager or in similar roles within the management of secured assets.
• Solid knowledge of procedural, mortgage, and insolvency law.
• Strong analytical skills and a results-oriented mindset.
• Negotiation skills and experience managing internal and external stakeholders.

We value prior experience in financial institutions, servicers, investment funds, or companies within the debt management sector, as well as knowledge of the NPL and REO market.
